More Canadians Victimized By Fraud
As technology improves, the development of better means of living gets better and so is fraudulence. Numerous individuals tend to use their skills in creating fraud among innocent people who are working very hard for the needs of the family. According to Visa Canada’s second yearly deceptive marketing practices survey of a thousand Canadians, it revealed that out of five persons, one has been victimized by online or telephone marketing fraudulence. The survey also showed that 61% of consumers have confirmed making purchases via the Internet or through the phone in the previous twelve months. 27% of survey respondents admitted not reading the “terms and conditions of sale”.
